Spinal Live In PA's

We work with you to set up and manage ongoing packages of care that will meet your individual needs, whether that be continual long-term support or for shorter periods of time.

It is our aim to provide most appropriate and best quality of support for you.

By meeting you and discussing your requirements, before we start working with you, we can ensure we are fully aware of your needs, and give you the opportunity to discuss what we can offer.

We have supported staff in their development, resulting in their promotion within the company, which has benefited the company and our clients. As our staff have real on the job experience, our highly trained and experienced managers ensure packages are tailored to meet/suit all our clients needs.

Regular ongoing support is provided to you and your carer, by regular telephone/internet contact as well as face-to-face meetings at a time and date convenient to you.

We are aware that things can go wrong from time to time, and we are able to resolve issues or complaints quickly and efficiently, with minimum disruption to your life.  We actively encourage feedback, both positive and negative and have a robust complaints procedure, which you can access any time.  There is a 24-hour on call cover in case of emergency.

Please complete the on-line registration form, or contact us if you wish to discuss any further details.

Your personal assistant (PA) will be able to help you with all general household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, ironing, shopping etc. All our PAs will also be able to help you with personal care, should this be required. We know that live in assistance is more than being at home, all our PAs are drivers, their ability is assessed before commencing work and they are able to assist you to college, meetings, social outings, etc as required. They normally work on a 2 week on one week off rota.

Our PAs are selected as high quality individuals who will be able to support our client's needs. There is a thorough recruitment and selection process, including face-to-face interview.  We look for individuals, who are patient, enthusiastic and confident.  We also understand how important communication is, and ensure that the carers have understanding, and are able to speak English to a good standard. We carry out enhanced Criminal Record Checks as well as obtaining full background and reference checks as part of our employment process.

Successful applicants complete our induction course, which meets all the TOPSS regulations.

In line with the CSCI and Care Commission Scotland, we encourage the ongoing development of our staff, by regular in-house training and also encourage NVQ.
